Why NOT to do11+ mocks?!

Here’s why you should NOT (for some) put your child into a mock 11+; for most, yes the answer will be the contrary.

Reasons

  • Your child is showing signs of stress - a little stress is normal, however if it’s changing their daily habits, you should reconsider - this link has some good advice from the NHS

  • You are showing signs of stress - don’t underestimate the work you’ve put into this as well as looking after all your other responsibilities!

  • You underestimate how much preparation is involved - extra time should be dedicated to prepare well for the exams.

  • price - it’s not cheap in addition to regular tuition lessons and with the cost of living increasing it’s a difficult choice to make.. Here is a link to some FREE GL style papers.

  • You have been made aware that your child has a low chance of passing the grammar test.

As mentioned before, so MOST students we do HIGHLY RECOMMEND going for the 11+ mocks to help prepare for the big day!
