With years of experience, teaching over thousands of children from the ages of 8 to 18, we are experts within the field of Mathematics and 11+ and pride ourselves as being teachers rather than tutors. This has allowed us to establish a positive reputation on the personalised support we continue to provide. As we teach from our home residence, rather than a large tuition centre, we are able to create a homely atmosphere, which is a fantastic way to build a rapport with pupils, ensuring that they feel comfortable and confident in their learning.

As a husband and wife team, we are dedicated to consistently providing QUALITY education, therefore we don’t employ externally, in order to verify the progress made by every pupil in every lesson.

Here at RP Tutors, we have a ‘THREE FOR ONE’ philosophy, where we believe that three pillars must work well together for the good of the student— the parent, teacher, and pupil themselves.

We pride ourselves as being teachers, not tutors. In addition to this we have established our reputation on the personalised support we provide. Led by two Grammar school teachers CURRENTLY working in schools with the latest curriculum knowledge and resources to match. We use both traditional methods alongside online platforms to analyse and pinpoint knowledge gaps. We class ourselves as teachers rather than tutors as our main careers are in full-time roles in secondary school - teaching hundreds of children across North Birmingham. Our lessons are held in our residence nurturing a homely learning environment that helps quickly establish rapport, and build confidence; enabling us to give your child the individual attention they need to succeed. We have helped pupils from many areas over the years, including; Great Barr, Sutton Coldfield, West Bromwich, Walsall, and Wolverhampton to name a few.

Our expertise is in the field of Mathematics, providing specialist face-to-face small group and 1-2-1 tuition for students from Primary, Secondary, and Colleges. Our personalised range of schemes of work covers the National Curriculum of KS2, KS3, GCSE, and A-level Mathematics. Our mission is to prepare your child by developing their understanding of the subject and ensuring they excel in their examinations. We provide weekly independent learning tasks with instant feedback and regular mock tests in lessons to assess progress – keeping parents informed throughout.

Our proven track record of excellence and dedication comes as a direct result of our teaching expertise and approach to preparing pupils for the West Midlands Grammar test. Parents and pupils have direct

communication with us to answer any questions or concerns - anytime. We are committed to empowering both young learners and parents to conquer not only the examinations but also become better learners for the future. Our purpose-built study in our nurturing home environment will give your child the confidence required to achieve their full potential. We've created our tailored 11 Plus tuition lessons to emphasize learning rather than marking homework through weekly classwork booklets which cover Maths, English, Non-verbal and Verbal reasoning. RP Tutors understand that every student is unique, with individual strengths and areas of improvement which is why we believe the triangulation between parent, pupil, and teacher must be as strong as possible. RP Tutors understand that exam preparation can be a daunting experience for young learners - we aim to boost students' confidence and acclimatise them to the exam format by annually organising a sequence of mock exams. We prepare candidates for the West Midlands Grammar Schools entrance test (GL specification at present) for pupils who reside in and around Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Warwickshire and Shropshire. I've personally designed this assessment to be the most comprehensive 11 Plus exam on the market for the GL specification as it covers the widest breadth of topics possible. You'll receive an in-depth report analysing your child's performance against others and more importantly how they have done on individual topics.
